Welcome Volunteers!

The North Pole Bazaar is truly a community event, and we would love for you to be part of the team that brings it to life! Volunteers are the heart of this fundraiser, helping create a warm, welcoming, and successful experience for our guests, vendors, and supporters. Whether you enjoy planning behind the scenes, helping with setup and decorating, baking treats, working during the event, assisting with raffles and activities, or helping with cleanup afterward, there are opportunities for every skill set and schedule. We’ll be promoting the Bazaar through social media, community calendars, and local TV and radio website listings, and every volunteer plays an important role in making this special November event a success.

There are many volunteer opportunities:

• Help planning the event.
  The type of help needed prior to the event is marketing/advertising, volunteer management, food management, donation management (monitoring, following-up, obtaining, gathering, preparing baskets), working out processes and flow etc.
• Help setup the night before the event.
  The type of help needed to setup include placing tables and chairs, putting on table cloths, decorating, putting up signage etc.
• Bake or make a dessert(s) or candy for the event.
• Work the day of the event.
  The type of help needed includes selling raffle tickets, helping at the Bistro, FRED Talks, General Store & Post Office, cover for breaks, etc.
• Break down the event Saturday afternoon.
  The type of help needed includes moving tables and chairs, undecorating, etc. to return the rooms to their original state.
